Second Chance Equine Rescue and Sanctuary was founded in the Fall of 2009 at Cherrywood Farm in Paris, Kentucky. The first 2 horses brought to the farm were 2 OTTB's, Tyndale and Olay's Slew. Danni and Second Chance soon joined them, followed by Cachaca. It is our mission and dream to help as many horses in need as possible. The need is overwhelming and new homes are hard to find. But, I am convinced there is a good home for every needy horse somewhere. Please support your local equine and animal rescues. Most are run on a shoestring budget. Both financial and volunteer help is always needed and appreciated. Visitors are always welcome at the farm!
